Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 221 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations BEFORE we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum.

The ending/conclusion to this story was good the mother got her son back and after evaluation was told that he wasn't abused. She took him home and gave him a bath in some way she realized that he was getting older and let him bath himself. the conclusion was basically wrapping up the tragic story with a happy bow. it gives you what life was like after the boy went missing and how they moved on from it. this doesn't leave the reader wondering as to what happens next it basically leaves the reader relieved and comforted for the reunion of the mother and son. This type of conclusion is something like a happy ending for the reader and leaves the reader feeling like life went on happily for the mother and son in the story.
